A charming little camping site located near the middle of the island. There are six cabins and the site can house a total of approx. 200 visitors. Good playing facilities and a convenience store selling all day-to-day necessities.
Hjarnø is situated in Horsens Fjord, only 800 metres from the mainland. It covers 3.2 sq. km - 3 km long and 1 km wide, and the permanent population is 135. A car ferry sails to Hjarnø from the fishing village of Snaptun.
