STAGE 7: HASSELØ – GULDBORG

Starting point:

Hasselø Nature Path, south of Hasseløvej, Nykøbing F.

Tour description/experiences:

After Hasselø Nature Path, Hasselø Plantation is passed and straight after comes Frederik IX’s bridge. Just before the bridge there is a small marina ”Lergraven” and the impressive sugar factory of Nykøbing. Nykøbing is the region’s largest city with shopping possibilities, restaurants, Nykøbing Zoo and on the Lolland side is the Medieval Center, which one should visit. It is not allowed to use the harbour of the Medieval Center. If you continue further north, consult the tour description ”Guldborg round-trip” to Guldborg. By Sundby North water is found at the address: Rosenhaven 11 (fee). By Hjelm there is shopping facility in Guldborg – 4 km from Hjelm.
