Silkeborg Angling Society

With 2,400 members, Silkeborg Angling Society, which was founded on 3 March 1869, is Denmark’s largest angling society. The society’s fishing waters are also among the best, biggest and most diverse in Denmark. Here, you can catch everything from trout, pike and walleye to burbot. There are also plenty of opportunities for coarse fishing. Prices for the purchase of daily/weekly/annual licences are reasonable, and you always have the opportunity to find new and exciting fishing grounds from bank and boat. The society’s website offers inspiration for fishing trips on maps of the society’s fishing waters. You can also find out where to buy daily/weekly and annual licences. We cannot guarantee that you’ll catch anything, but we can guarantee an outdoor experience not found elsewhere in Denmark.
