WeirdWalks - Christmas Tour
WeirdWalks' Christmas tour gives you the opportunity to learn something about new as well as old Christmas traditions in Denmark. Who came first - Santa or the Christmas pixie? And how did the rich and the poor celebrate Christmas back in the day?
Christmas is right around the corner and the same goes for the many wonderful traditions we all know and love. But Christmas hasn't always been the way it is today.
Traditions in the olden days
Listen to the stories about the first Christmas trees, decorations, cinema traditions, lost window displays, Christmas goodies and more.
You'll also learn about traditions you probably haven't heard of before and get the answer to questions like who came first - Santa or the Christmas pixie? And what does the Christmas goat have to do with all of this?.
The tour is for all ages and starts by Hotel Palace, Vestervoldgade, by City Hall Square. The tour ends by Church of Our Lady.
Please book in advance and bring cash.
